Today marks the start of Linn’s Majik LP12 winter promotion, where you can turn your Linn Axis, Basik or other turntable ‘Majik-ly’ into an LP12 with a generous £750 guaranteed trade in for any turntable.

Which has inspired us to put on a bit of a show for you – the ‘Majik of Vinyl’.

Come along and hear Linn’s iconic LP12 and witness just how great music can be when it comes from the grooves of a vinyl record.

Whether you already own a turntable and LP collection, are just starting out, don’t know what those strange-looking, 12″ black discs even are (don’t worry, we’ll show you!), or just want to hear a great record player in action, pop into Adventures on Friday 23rd November for a day of pure musical pleasure.

We’ll be playing both a moving magnet Majik LP12 and it’s moving coil sibling, with a variety of power supplies, phono stages et al, to let you hear how each component of an LP12 turntable influences it’s sound and performance. We might even ramp it up a bit with one of our top-of-the-range Klimax level Sondeks 😊

This is another informal day listening, no timed demos, no tech presentations (in fact, we’ll try to talk as little as possible😂), no hard sell, no jacket required! You are welcome to come along at anytime but it would help if you let us know roughly when you’ll arrive. Get in touch via:
